President Donald Trump exclusively told Breitbart News that the modern Democratic Party’s far-left radical socialist turn is dangerous for American citizens, and throughout history, it has always ended the same way, which is disaster whenever socialism and communism are implemented.
“You would think he can’t go anywhere, you would think the American public is smarter than that – and if you look at history, it has never worked,” Trump told Breitbart News in an exclusive hour-long interview in the Oval Office of the White House on Tuesday. “Go back 1,000 years, different names, but the concept of giving everything away ends in filth, crime and death. It always ends the same way.”
Trump also told Breitbart News how he developed new terminology for Democrats — where he changed the e in the word to a U, making it “Democrats” — in order to highlight their insanity.
“Why did it take me so long to figure this out? Isn’t that the greatest?” Trump said. “You replace the E with a U, and it’s over – and no one knows that dumb has a B, okay? You don’t even need to, but you just replace the E with a U, and you get a Dumocrat, and his policy is so stupid.”
Trump’s comments come shortly after he lost primaries to longtime Democrat and socialist challengers like Reps. Dan Goldman (D-NY), Adriano Espaillat (D-NY), Diana DeGette (D-CO). Emerging socialist candidates are defeating party establishment-backed candidates even in open seats, and there are insurgents in places like Michigan and Maine’s Senate races.
Trump said that while he’s glad that Goldman — a veteran of the party establishment who was the impeachment manager who led the first impeachment for House Democrats in his first term — lost his primary, the man who defeated him, Brad Lander, is even more mad.
Trump said, “I was happy that Goldman lost, because he was really an idiot, and he was the prosecutor on my case, and I killed him.” “And it’s not easy to beat prosecutors. He was a very overachieving person, and he ran for office, he was a lousy candidate. When he was under pressure, he backed down, so I wasn’t sad. I don’t know the other one, but I wasn’t sad that Dan Goldman lost. He was a prosecutor; he prosecuted me, knowing I did nothing wrong.”
When asked how Lander is trying to bring back the radical environmental, social and governance (ESG) mandate that Trump had crushed, Trump said, “It’s true” that Lander is more radical than Goldman.
“I know what you mean, but I’m glad [Goldman] Lost,” Trump told Breitbart News.
Trump also said that these radicals like Lander and Dariliana Avila Chevalier, who defeated Espaillat in the New York primary, are “doing well for themselves” right now because they are going to get themselves the nomination because the party is totally crazy so they get themselves the nomination.
He said, before the Democrats as a party took such a hard-left stance, these types of radicals would not have been “able” to win their primaries as they currently are.
“They’re taking on the Democrats directly — or even if you call the radical left, but not the crazy leftists — these are people who are getting nominated who wouldn’t have a chance if it were just normal leftists, as opposed to these crazy lunatics,” Trump said. “If you’re not like that, you don’t get the nomination, it would seem.”
Trump believes that in the long run this slide toward insanity on the part of the Democrats has endangered his party.
“I have a different theory,” Trump said. “I think if he went back to the center, he would be very difficult to defeat.”
Trump also trailed both Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) in Georgia and James Tallarico, the Democratic candidate for US Senate in Texas. He argued that Ossoff looks like Pee-wee Herman, and he argued that Tallarico looks like Alfred E. Newman.
“I think the Texas Democrat candidates are terrible and they have nothing to do with Texas,” Trump said. “I think Ken [Paxton] Represents the people of Texas – his entire being is Texas. The second – six penises – mocks Jesus Christ. He was making fun of Jesus Christ. it’s too far. I see him wearing a mask all the time. He was in a mask that was almost like he was born with it. I don’t think he could be any worse, and he looks like Alfred E. Newman.”
After this Trump started making fun of Ossoff.
“Same thing with Georgia,” Trump said, referring to Ossoff. “He looks like Pee-wee Herman.”
For dramatic juxtaposition effect, Trump had his staff print out side-by-side photos of Ossoff with Tallarico and Harman with Newman for an entire page of Breitbart News.
“I think Georgia is very beatable,” Trump said. “I think he [Ossoff] is dreadful. He is a tough one. Do you know, I beat her once before, that I beat her when she was a Congresswoman, Karen [Handel]And he had the lead, and that was the last thing I ever heard from him. So I got in the race – he had no chance – and got him in the race. It was him and her, and she won, and he said, ‘Thank you very much.’ That was the last I heard from her, and she later lost it to someone. She was not great; He never asked me to help him. She ultimately lost.”
But Trump believes Ossoff is up for potential defeat again, and his chosen nominee, Representative Mike Collins (R-GA), is the GOP nominee for Senate in Georgia.
As far as 2028, he similarly thinks Democrats are in trouble there too – arguing that Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) has fallen because of self-inflicted wounds.
When Trump was asked who he thought the Democrats would nominate for president in 2028, he said, “Well, I thought it would be Gavin Newscom.” I know people who are dyslexic, and it’s not easy for them. He said he had a lot of learning disabilities. He said things which are unbelievable. Someone called – actually a reporter called and said, ‘Okay, let’s say he has a learning disability,’ and I had to say, ‘Oh, that’s fine.’ No, this is not good for a President. You have to be fast. You have to be. We just went through a guy who was a complete idiot, and look what happened to our country – 25 million people were allowed in, Russia-Ukraine would never have happened, so many things happened that were so bad, the worst inflation ever. You know, when they talk about cost, and they talk about all the things they like to go into, these are costs I’ve inherited. We had the highest inflation in 48 years; I say ever, because I believe it was much longer than 48 years, but 48 years is fine. We’ll take it, but we essentially had the worst inflation ever, and I inherited it. Then they talk about affordability – they coined the term affordability. Remember when I came on the first day, I had given a press conference to the administration for a day or two and they started pelting me with eggs and I said that I had come here just two days ago. Democrats are great at branding and messaging, but they are bad at policy, and if we ever pass the Save America Act, it’s possible you won’t have a Democrat elected president for the next 100 years. “If we don’t pass this, the Republican Party is taking a tremendous risk.”
Also on Newsom, he said he thought the interview he mentioned, where Newsom talked about learning disabilities, was disqualifying.
Trump said, “As you know, I told Newscom, when I heard this interview – it was an interview, it was on stage, and it was obviously an African American audience, which he insulted tremendously.” “It really insulted him. It was the worst interview I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen some very bad interviews by professional politicians, but when he did the interview I actually laid out the truth that we have breaking news: Gavin Newscom is not running for president. I thought he was saying that because he wasn’t going to run, because only a very stupid person would say that. If I were running against him, I would listen to that clip from that interview. Doesn’t use anything else.”
Trump thinks Democrats may be in trouble, but he doesn’t think they’re stuck with former Vice President Kamala Harris — whom Trump crushed in 2024 — or Newsom.
When Trump was asked if he was stuck with Harris or Newsom, he said, “I don’t think so.” “No, they have some good people, they have some capable people. I know all of them, I know every single one of them. They have some very good people, I don’t want to tell you who, but they have some people who are good, who will be more formidable. I would say Newsom is probably second now, and Kamala is first. It’s not even believable. Both are incompetent.”
