During this transformation, FSBM’s smart manufacturing arm, FSBM MES Elite Sdn Bhd also received industry recognition at the Malaysia Smart Manufacturing Awards (MSMA) 2025, where it was awarded a special award for Technology Excellence by former Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul in recognition of the company’s contribution as an Industry 4.0 enabler in Malaysia. accepts.
As FSBM continues to grow, the company has changed its business directions along with its ongoing smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
“I joined the FSBM with a clear mandate: to save the company and rebuild its credibility. That mandate has been fulfilled.
“I am handing over to a company that has its house completely in order. The accounts have been reconciled, the PN17 situation has been resolved, and the governance structure has gradually been restored.
“Whatever financial or strategic decisions the board takes from tomorrow will have to be taken on this clean basis.
“As the company changes its business direction, I believe it is appropriate for me to move on and focus on areas where I can make the most direct impact.
“My conviction is to drive real-economy transformation by helping manufacturers move up the value chain through practical, scalable, AI-powered technology and advanced data analytics.
“I am stepping down to ensure there is no loss of focus in my endeavor to advance Malaysia’s AI and digital ecosystem. I wish the group all the best in its new direction,” Pang said.
