Google on Wednesday announced a proposal for university students in the US and other countries. This will provide a compatible subscription to the eligible students for their AI Pro Plan for a period of one year. Membership will provide them access to Google’s advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) features and equipment in apps such as Gemini, Docs, Sheets and Notebooks. In the coming weeks, Tech giants will also expand this proposal to include more countries.
Google AI Pro Plan offering price, availability
The Google AI Pro plan in the US is priced at $ 19.99 (about Rs 1,750) per month. It is also available as an annual membership, which costs $ 199.99 (about Rs 17,500). According to the company, membership of the annual plan can help customers save $ 39.89 (about Rs 3,500).

Google said in a blog post that students of qualified university can avail membership free for one year. Proposals have been announced for students aged 18 and above in the US, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea and Brazil. It can be benefited by 6 October.
It will also be expanded to include more countries in the coming weeks. The same proposal was announced for students in India last month.
Google AI Pro Plan Benefits, Features
Google’s AI Pro Plan offers intensive research on the latest Gemini 2.5 Pro and Gemini 2.5 Pro models. Subscribers can use video generations with the help of tech veteran’s latest Veo 3 video generation model, as well as with increased range to create images to create videos with Veo 2 in whisk. According to the company, this vertex will provide limited access to VO3 fast on AI.
Additionally, students get 1,000 monthly AI credits, which can be used to complete text, image and video generation questions on the flow and whisk platforms. Google says that it also provides five times more limit to make more in audio overview, notebooks, and notebooks. Along with this, you also have access to Gemini in Google’s suite apps like doors, sheets and slides.
Apart from AI features, Google AI Pro Plan also includes 2TB of cloud storage in Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos.
