In May, an X user stumbled into a pixel commercial shoot in the wild, fuel the online rumor mill and gave us a not-up-close look on the flagship smartphone. Now, a fresh leakage offers a potential August launch date, which means that we may be a few months away from the next generation Pixel smartphone.
It is difficult to believe, but we are going to experience the tenth year of Google Pixel annual upgradation.
A decade ago as an uncertain experiment that was introduced is now a solid and reliable smartphone lineup from Google, the year and year out. According to different rumors and leaks, this year is no different. Google Pixel 10 lineup is not quite ready to step into the spotlight, but this does not mean that we cannot be ready in the meantime.

There is not much concrete information about Google Pixel 10 lineup yet, but we have enough to get a general idea to expect.
Latest: A rumor August launch date
On June 2, a leakar on X reported that Google Pixel 10 will be officially launched on 13 August. Soon after, Android Headline also reported a August launch, although the details are slightly different. In Android headlines, the next generation of the Pixel phone will be launched by the Google event on August 20, in which the phone will be sent on August 28. The site reported that the lineup “will include Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL and foldable Pixel 10 Pro folds.
We are not able to verify the leak independently, and the details do not match properly. This may mean that Google is still finalizing the exact launch date, and with all leaks, manage your expectations.
That Google Pixel 10 Video Commercial Shoot
We know that Google is actively prepared for the launch of Pixel 10. How do we know this?
Marksgonepublic clearly caught a video team, which is doing a commercial shoot for Pixel 10. You do not see much part of the phone in the screenshot, but it looks real. (Updated: Marksgonepubolic account and post with photographs from commercial shoots have been removed since then.)
Google Pixel 10 models and release date
Google traditionally announces a lineup of each year in August, so we are likely to have the official confirmation of launch until then.
How many Google Pixel 10 phones will be in August, we can see last year’s launch to make a prediction. In 2024, Google launched Base Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold to all at the same time. So far, there are no indications that Google is planning to do anything differently this year. Till it changes, it is safe to assume that this year’s lineup will look the same, “9.” Instead of “10” in the name of each phone, “9.” Instead of “10”, except “10” “9.” 9.

Google is not really setting a benchmark score on the fire with the previous few pixel phones, but tenser chips have always provided smooth performance and good battery life, so perhaps it doesn’t matter.
Of course, the Tensor G5 will also enable a lot of new AI features, but we do not yet know about any of them.
Google Pixel 10 Price
Again, we do not make sure how long the cost of any of these phones is until Google tells us. He said, Android Headline has done some reporting about this, and the answers are very interesting.
According to that report, Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro will maintain the same price points of Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, or $ 799 and $ 999 respectively. Unfortunately, if you want a Pixel 10 Pro XL (which usually comes with a large display and battery), you will clearly pay $ 100, $ 100 from last year.

Finally, the cameras are clearly a large part of the appeal with the smartphone, and the Pixel phone usually performed well in that regard. It seems that Google is making some interesting changes this year, if the leak is to be believed.
That is, it seems that the base pixel 10 can find a third camera lens on the back, putting back only a wide and ultra-wide lens after Google’s years. This is according to the render received by Android Headline earlier this year. A third telephoto lens base can give Pixel 10 to a huge leg zumped in photographs equally against the price competition.
However it can come at a cost. According to Android Authority, Pixel 10’s rear camera is a downgrade in terms of megapixel count from Pixel 9. The new phone will have a 48MP wide lens and 13MP ultra-wide lens, which is at 50MP and 48MP respectively, at Pixel 9. It seems that these agreements are required by incorporating a third telephoto lens.
It seems that the 10 Pro and the Pro XL model 9 will remain the same as the 9 Pro model, at least. According to the Android Authority, they will have a 50MP/48MP/48MP array as last year. Finally, the Pixel 10 Pro fold is allegedly receiving a minor competition from 48MP to 50MP in its main rear sensor, but the rest is the same: 10.5MP Ultra-Wide Lenses to go with 10.5MP telephoto lenses.
A ton new AI features
We have no specific insight here, but given that Google I/O 2025 fully focuses on Gemini, Artificial intelligence, and on the upcoming Android XR enriched reality platform, we can confidently say that PIXEL 10 AI will launch with a complete suit. It contains standard AI that you include Google products such as Gmail, Docs and Gemini -especially tools for pixel hardware. If we had to guess, our money will be on the new AI image editing and video editing tools, as it has recently been a big focus for Google. Ditto Real-Time Language Translation.
Google Pixel 10 Colors
A new rumor claims that Google Pixel 10 will come in the following colors: Obesidian (Black), Iris (Purple), Limonsalo (Yellow), and Neela (yes, Neela does not get fancy name for some reason). As Pixel 10 Pro and XL, we can expect Obesidian (Black), Green (Blue Fortunate as Blue, it appears), sterling (gray), and porcelain (white).
