NIH Director Dr. J. Bhattacharya on Thursday commented on Florida on the broadcast of Newsmax TV’s “Rob Schmit Tonite”, stating that he is not speaking for the administration, but it is not that “this is not a better approach” and “the strategy to use the mandate, this is not right.”
Bhattacharya said, “I am not sure what really is – the administration has a tech on it yet, but I will tell you, Rob, if you see in the UK, if you see in Sweden, you see in Denmark, any of them have vaccine mandate for any of their vaccines. They work voluntarily for all people. They work voluntarily for all people. Without violating autonomy, people believe in public health because they are reliable.
He added, “They’re not coercing people. Just telling you my point of view as an epitemiologist and scientist, that that seems to be the better approach to public health, talk to people, talk to them about the data, what the data and data. Show, be honest about what – when there are problems, and then, treat people like adults, especially parents, to help them make good decisions for their families.
Earlier, Bhattacharya said that with the MMR vaccine, “You have 90-Plaus percent of your children who have a fully understandable, which makes a fully understandable, given what scientific evidence says and risk-profit ratio and goods. For Kovid vaccine, less than 20% Americans have vaccinated their children … because it does not understand more than a scientific point.”
