It’s like a Black Friday in the crypto market with extreme selling in some names after Trump announced additional 10% tariffs on Chinese exports of late.
Bitcoin is down 6% on the day to $113,700, but much bigger moves are happening in the smaller names, starting with an 11.5% drop in Ethereum and from there rising to 14% in Ripple and Solana, with Dogecoin down 21%, Cardano down 21% and Bitcoin down 40%. There is hardly any coin left with almost all altcoins outside the top 10 falling 20-30% and this is after a significant correction from the lows.
