A extremist group associated with the Lashkar-e-Tabiba terrorist organization-based Lashkar-e-Tabiba terrorist organization claimed the responsibility of attack in Pahalgam. Senior Fellow of the American Enterprise Institute, Sadanand Dhoom told Fox News Digital that Modi was facing pressure to give a tough response.
“The Indian people are angry with the last week’s terrorist attack in Kashmir, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put a lot of pressure to respond to the atrocities by attacking Pakistan, which has long -sponsored attacks on India,” Dham said.

Already India has suspended the landmark 1960 Indus Water Treaty, which is a major water-sharing agreement covering both countries overlapping rivers. Pakistan’s Law and Justice Minister told Reuters that Islamabad plans to challenge the suspension of the Treaty of India and is increasing the issue with the World Bank.
Pakistan said that obstruction for free flow of water would be a work of war.

The rivalry between India and Pakistan is for the partition of the former British colony of India in 1947 with the establishment of Muslim-Bahul Pakistan and Hindu-Biul India in 1947.
