On 6th May 2026, Pluto goes stationary retrograde At 5° Aquarius.
While exact station occurs on May 6, it impacts already is building This past week culminated with the Scorpio Full Moon on May 1st.
Lately things have become more ‘plutonic’ – And this intensity will continue in the coming week also.
What does it do ‘dark‘Really mean?’
Many of us associate Pluto with power plays, heavy stuff, crisis and change – and other topics that are actually more Scorpio than Pluto.
A Pluto transit can make it feel like we’re some kind of puppet – but it has nothing to do with power plays, and the crisis we’re facing may not actually be the work of Pluto.
So why is Pluto so misunderstood – and how does it really operate?
Pluto is the last planet in the solar system. from its position on the shorePluto can be seen from all the other planets revolving around the Sun, forming aspects and going through its cycle.
gives its distance to Pluto broadest perspective All of. He is the chief steward of the solar system. scorekeeper.
there is one natural law How everything unfolds and interconnects – and Pluto, from that vantage point, understands it in a way no other planet does.
It not only registers the individual parts, but entire ecosystem – How different elements nourish each other and regulate the overall balance.
Let’s take the ecosystem we call planet Earth. Plants, animals, humans, resources – all co-exist in a system that regulates itself.
Animals eat plants, other animals eat those animals, we humans eat almost everything – and ultimately, we come back into the system, nourishing the soil and continuing the cycle.
There is a natural rule where nothing is too much or too little – and even when things are temporarily out of balance, the system works to restore itself.
Pluto problems arise when we start wrestling with what is – instead of rely on natural law He is already taking care of it.
For example:
We expect a certain result, we put in the effort, money or time – but then we don’t get what we expected, or at the time we expected.
We find ourselves in such a situation with a partner – we feel like we’ve done a lot, and they owe us. Resentment is taking over. We are keeping track and we are convinced that this is unfair.
But who is keeping the real score?
Pluto is keeping real score. And that’s a good thing, because it means we don’t have to do that. This means that whatever we are doing is part of a larger process that is already being accounted for.
Nothing is left out of Pluto’s books. Every activity is recorded. Every investment – of time, energy, intention – is providing something.
-> Maybe the time you invested in a relationship or project didn’t pay off the way you expected – but it helped someone else who needed it more than you at that time.
–> And the reverse is also true. Sometimes good things come your way that you didn’t directly expect at that moment – something works out, an opportunity opens up – and you may mistake it for skill or talent, when it could be dividends coming back.
What happens always happens – just not always on our personal schedule. At the time of Pluto.
Pluto going retrograde – it’s not all about us
Most of the struggles in our lives come when we make life about ourselves.. This creates a kind of tunnel vision, and we miss the bigger picture.
But life is much more complex and interconnected than we give it credit for – and most of the time, what frustrates us, what seems unfair, what keeps us up at night – has little to do with us individually.
There’s a much bigger story going on that we don’t have the bandwidth to see, because unlike Pluto, we’re not at the edge of the solar system.
Pluto in AquariusMore than any other sign, points to a higher order, a greater puzzle, and the understanding that everything is connected and accounted for.
When we shift our perspective from ourselves to the bigger picture, we stop wasting time and energy in resentment and score-keeping over things we have no control over.
Same hour of unpaid overtime Can cause stress and sadness (why am I not getting paid?) – or it can energize us, when we see what an impact we’ve made and how that extra hour really helped someone. Same situation – totally different experience.
when we make public speaking About us – what people will think, how they will judge us – we are afraid of that. But when we focus on the message that needs to be delivered, the people we are there to help, that same experience becomes exhilarating. Again – same situation, completely different experience.
This may all sound simple – and it is.
But once this concept really gets off the ground, we can’t believe how much time, energy, and frustration we’re spending on things we have no control over instead of doing something more meaningful. We almost don’t know whether to laugh or cry – maybe both.
Stationary Pluto in Aquarius reminds us twice a year that it’s not all about us. And that by shifting our perspective from ourselves to the world, people, the bigger picture, we can move from frustration and resistance to flow, connection, and meaning.
In this plutonic reflective window, ask yourself:
Where are you keeping score in your life – and what will change if you trust Pluto to do it for you?
And where in your life can you make it less about yourself and more about the world around you?
