Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 41-year-old woman who went missing after leaving her mother’s house on June 16.
ipoh: Police are trying to trace the whereabouts of a 41-year-old woman who went missing after leaving her mother’s house at Lorong Mewa 16, Taman Mewa, Kamunting, near Taiping on June 16.
Acting Taiping District Police Chief Superintendent Mohammad Arifridzuan Azhar said in a statement tonight that a missing person’s report regarding Nor Afiza Zainuddin was lodged with the police at 11.22am on June 18.
He said the mother of two was last seen leaving home in a white Perodua Axia to attend a job interview at Casuarina Hotel in Kuala Kangsar.
“Police found the missing man’s vehicle at the Kampung Paya Lintang recreation ground in Batu Hampar, near Padang Rengas on June 21,” he said.
He said, Nor Afiza’s height is 155 cm and weight is 57 kg, she has dark complexion, flat nose and glasses.
He urged anyone with information about Nor Afiza’s whereabouts to contact the nearest police station or call the investigating officer, Inspector Sanjay Shanmugam on 012-5039820, or the Taiping District Police Headquarters on 05-8291222.
