Rosie O’Donnell says she was “horrified” by President Donald Trump’s request to FIFA president Gianni Infantino to rescind US player Folarin Balogun’s red card during the round of 16 match against Belgium. “She’s able to get away with almost everything and that’s sad,” the comedian insisted.
“The fact that they called FIFA and canceled the penalty for the U.S. team and the U.S., ‘Yeah, that’s good! I didn’t think it was a red card anyway!’ Well, you’re not a crazy referee!” O’Donnell told Diversity.
“You don’t get to make decisions! Since when does he get to make and change rules, goalposts, whatever metaphor you want to use, and everyone just sits back and shrugs their shoulders?” the 64-year-old continued. “There’s a lot [corruption] That we don’t even notice it.”
O’Donnell further claimed that she was “terrified” by America’s fans and her team accepting the president’s move.
“the fact that [Balogun] Not saying, ‘I’m not going to play this game,’ and the fact that the coach of the American team didn’t say, ‘We don’t win like that,’ and everybody was just saying, ‘Okay, whatever!’ I was terrified,” she said.
“I’m horrified by the fact that he’s been able to get away with almost everything and it’s sad,” O’Donnell said.
The leftist actress – who fled the United States for Ireland early last year – also reiterated her previous claim that the president is “mediocre”. Diversity“This is a man who has failed at everything he has ever tried, and he is even mediocre at best,”
O’Donnell said, “And the fact that he’s running our country is disgusting.” “This is the worst thing that has ever happened to our country and I think it needs to be fixed as quickly as possible if we are to remain a democratic republic.”
As Breitbart News has reported, O’Donnell has been making frequent TikTok posts about Trump, spreading fear-mongering rhetoric, including the bizarre claim that the president would use “an assassination attempt or a terrorist bombing” to overturn this year’s midterm elections.
Ironically, O’Donnell said, “I don’t want the stress and anxiety associated with his continued harassment,” despite the fact that she has returned to the United States several times after vowing not to do so.
