Soybean prices closed lower Wednesday, with the contract down 6 ¾ to 9 cents on the day. CmdtyView’s national average cash bean price was down 7 3/4 cents at $10.58 1/4. Soymeal futures rose 70 cents to $2.30, soy oil futures fell 113 points from 82.
The NOAA 7-day QPF showed a 1 to 3 inch band from KS to southern parts of ECB. Much of northern IL, IA, NE and SD sees light totals of less than ½ inch.

Export sales data will be released on Thursday, with traders expecting 2025/26 soybean sales to be between 100,000 and 500,000 metric tons. Sales for the new crop marketing year are seen at between 450,000 and 1,000,000 metric tons in the week ending June 18, according to a Reuters poll of analysts. Soybean meal sales are estimated to be in the range of 200,000 to 500,000 metric tons, with bean oil bookings expected to be in the range of 0 to 13,000 metric tons.
