Trump administration condemns Saudi and French -led push for Palestinian state United Nations After the Mahasabha, on Friday, 142 votes approved the “New York Declaration”, in which voted against the US and nine others and against 12 restraints.
US United Nations Counselor Morgan Ortagas condemned the vote.

A White House official told Fox News Digital after a vote, “As the President said, he will reward Hamas and hinder the efforts to take the house hostage if he recognizes a Palestinian kingdom, and does not think he should be rewarded. So, he is not going to do so.”

Proposed during a United Nations Conference in July, the declaration means what its sponsors have described as the “irreversible” route for the Palestinian state. It condemns Hamas for October 7 attacks, demands hostage release and calls Gaza’s control for Hamas and calls the Palestinian Authority to hand over his weapons.
