If the diplomacy is the theater, Justin went on stage in the dress to congratulate Trudeau Royalty.
The former Canadian Prime Minister created a head-turning entrance in Tuesday’s Regal proceedings in Ottawa, which participates in the historic speech of King Charles III from the throne, not in a pair of expected leather brorses or polish oxfords, but in a pair of turquoise and orange Adidas Ghazells.
A sutorial option that can fly in more casual settings, perhaps low in the Senate Chamber, especially when the royalty is in the room.

While Trudeau made headlines for shoes of his choice, King Charles III and Queen Camilla were in Canada for a significant two -day visit, their first after becoming Emperor in 2022.
The 76 -year -old Raja is currently undergoing cancer treatment and a limited program, but the decision to travel to Ottawa was widely seen as a symbolic gesture of support for Canada at the time of stress.
The visit follows repeated comments by President Donald Trump, suggesting that Canada could become the 51st state of the United States, the comments that were publicly rejected by Canadian leaders.
Prime Minister Mark Carney invited the king to open the 45th session of the Canadian Parliament, making him the first emperor to do so since Queen Elizabeth II in 1977. Carney has earlier stated that Canada is no longer for sale, not for sale, “a message echoed by the Canadian messenger to the UK, which has been asked to visit the king.

Charles, who held private meetings with Carney and Governor General Mary Simon, serves as the head of the state of Canada, as he does for 14 other Commonwealth places. The journey comes at a time when the UK Prime Minister Kir stormer is chasing close relations with the Trump administration on business and international issues including Ukraine.
While the formal aspects of the yatra attracted attention, the incident strengthened the role of the monarchy in the current position of Canada on the world stage and strengthening that position.

Fashion-wise, Trudeau sneakers were at least N Vogue, literally. British Vogue recently termed Adidas Gazel as a perennial fashion staple, with its 70s inspired silhouettes and cool profiles in mind.
An article in April 2024 shows “why our passion shows no indication with Adidas Gazels,” Joy Montgomery called Shoe a “fashion trainer” with a timeless appeal, but it is not necessarily translating into the royal protocol.
One viewer took a pinch, “Justin Trudeau’s shoes, today, in Parliament, today – King Charles,” tweeted @margareta_matis.
Emily Ferguson said with a great shock: “Retirement runner probably ..?”
As the message was not clear, former communication head of Stephen Harper, Dimitris Saudas, gave his decision with silence: “I don’t know what to say.”
In a room filled with Governors General, Premiers, indigenous leaders and military honors, the Adidas Sabar of Trudeau also recorded his presence.
King Charles opened a speech with a land acknowledgment and proceeded rapidly to emphasize Canada’s “unique identity” and “permanent sovereignty”, “Trump’s subtle echo of Prime Minister Carney’s recent message.
The address of Charles was written by most Canadian government, but with his own Utkarsh, the ambitious economic goals were pointed out.
“Every time I come to Canada … Canada’s a little more leaks in my bloodstream, and from there straight to my heart,” he said.
Meanwhile, Trudeau found himself sitting next to Harper, his old political opponent, and both were seen in an animated conversation, flying hands. It is unknown what they were discussing.
