Putin and Trump exchanged a prisoner, so there was a possibility of what they talked about.
Eyes are on Ukraine for any kind of resolution for war. The wheels look at speed for that, but it is difficult to collect the parameters of discussions.
In other geopolitical news, Tulsi Gabbard has been confirmed as the director of the National Intelligence.
Update: Trump himself is now out with details.
I just had a long and highly productive phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. We discussed Ukraine, Middle East, Energy, Artificial Intelligence, Dollar Power and various other topics. Both of us reflected on the great history of our nations, and the fact that we fought so successfully in World War II together, remembering that Russia lost millions, and we, so, lost so many so many lost Went! We each talked about the strength of our respective countries, and someday the great benefit will be in working together. But first, as we both agreed, we want to stop millions of deaths in war with Russia/Ukraine. President Putin also used the motto of my very strong campaign, “General Knowledge.” We both believe in it very strongly. We agreed to work together, very closely, including visiting each other’s nations. We have also agreed to our respective teams to start a conversation immediately, and we will start by calling Ukraine’s President Zelancesi, to inform them about the conversation, something that I am doing right now. I have asked the secretary of CIA John Ratcliffe director, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz and Ambassador and Special Envoy Steve Witcoff to lead the talks that I will feel firmly. Millions of people have died in a war, which would not have happened if I was President, but it happened, so it should end. Any other life should be lost! I would like to thank President Putin for his time and effort in relation to this call, and for release, yesterday, Mark Phogel, a wonderful person, whom I personally greeted at the White House last night. I believe that this effort will lead to a successful conclusion, hoping that soon!
