(RTTNEWS) – According to a report released by the Energy Information Administration on Wednesday, the invention of crude oil in the US increased more than expected in the week ended 14 March.
The report said that 1.7 million barrels were climbed in crude oil inventions last week after increasing 1.4 million barrels in the last week. Economists expected to increase crude oil inventions by 1.2 million barrels.
The EIA stated that in 437.0 million barrels, the invention of American crude oil is about 5 percent less than an average of five years for this time of the year.
Meanwhile, the EIA stated that the gasoline invention was reduced by 0.5 million barrels last week, but is 2 percent above the average of five years for this time of the year.
Distilleted fuel invention, including heating oil and diesel, fell to 2.8 million barrels last week and is about 6 percent below the average of five years for this time of the year, stated in the report.
