The United Football League announced on Tuesday that Samson Naikua, a comprehensive receiver of Michigan Panthers, has been suspended without paying a game after a fan, brother of Los Angeles Rams Star Puka Naikua, brother of a fan.
The video went viral over the weekend, in which Naikua shown slapping a fan of a St. Louis Battalhox after a game of panthers on the road in Dome in the center of the US.
Nacua will not be able to play against DC defenders on 4 May.

Furthermore, as part of the suspension, UFL announced that Samson agreed to participate in community service programs organized by the league.
It is not clear what the fan said to Naikua which led to a physical reaction. The League said that when the video surfaced, he was investigating the situation.

Adonis Alexander, partners of the team of Naikua, were also with him during the change, although he was not involved. Instead, they gestured to the fan only after slapping Naikua, and they went out of the field together.

Naikua played for Utah and Byu during his college career, in which his star younger brother also participated. He held 1,015 yards in 45 games with UTES and 82 passes for 11 touchdowns before transferring to BYU for 2021 season.
There, Naikua worked in 21 catches for 329 yards and three scores.
Naikua tried to break a roster in NFL after his college career, spending time with Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints, but never got stuck. He played for UFL’s Pittsburgh Maools before joining panthers in 2024.

In this season, Naikua has 116 yards and seven catches long for a touchdown.
