Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that Charlie Kirk’s assassination was a sign of a “deep crack” in the American society, while presenting his condolences to the family of the late conservative activist.
According to Reuters, Putin addressed the murder, speaking at the Valdai discussion club at Sochi on a platform of Russian experts.
“This is a disgusting atrocities, especially since it was broadcast live. We all saw it. It was really terrible,” Putin said. “First and foremost, I expand my condolences to Sri Kirk’s family and all his loved ones. We are sympathetic and sympathy.

In addition to addressing Kirk’s death, Putin responded to Trump’s recent character depiction of Russia as “Paper Tiger”.
“A paper tiger? Then deal with this paper tiger,” said Putin. “If we are fighting the entire NATO block, we are moving forward, moving forward, and feel confident, and we are still called a paper tiger, what does it make NATO?”
