Washington: Tyler Robinson-Ere-A student How did the Republican parents pick up Mormon-South-infinant became the alleged killer of Mega-Influnser Charlie Kirk?
This is a question that has caught the small town Washington in Utah, where the suspect grew up.
The 22-year-old, arrested late on Thursday after a 33-hour manhunt, allegedly confessed to kill Kirk, whose popularity among young conservatives helped Donald Trump win the presidential election last November.
Robinson returned to a church in a neighborhood with a manicured lawn on a curved road in a middle -sized house in three boys.
He stopped for himself “quiet, respectable, a way. But he was really smart,” 66 -year -old Krrish Shwiereman, the retired Chief Conservator, at the local primary school, told AFP.
The 22 -year -old, Jayda Funk, who attended the Elementary and Middle School with Robinson, gave a uniform assessment.
“I always would always become a businessman or CEO someday, rather than that I am now learning about him,” he said.
“He was calm, but was not strange, his friends and he talked to all different clixes.”
After graduating with flying colors from high school in 2021, Robinson studied briefly at the university before enrolling an electrical apprentice program at a technical college close to the house.
Hunting and camp
His father sells granite kitchen countertops, his mother is a healthcare provider for people with disabilities – and he is a member of the Mormon Church, but inactive, according to Schwiman.
Family photos on social media paint a family that loved travel, camp and hunting.
On Wednesday, officials say Robinson used a sniper rifle to shoot Kirk with the same bullet from the roof to the neck, as a 31 -year -old worker spoke about four hours north of Washington at Utah Valley University.
While his parents are Republican, Robinson registered as unaffected but did not cast a ballot in 2024.
Utah’s Governor Spencer Cox told CNN on Friday that the suspect was “radical in a short time” in a short time.
Officials said Robinson had talked about Cancer with family members, and his father urged him to start himself.
Marking Cox said that Robinson is believed to have speculated about his politics.
There was a cartridge “Hey, fascist! Catch!” It is written, while another one in another “Bella Siao”, a World War II-Italian anti-fascist song is shown, stating that recently rebuilt in the top online circle.
Other cartridges were marked with symbols and words that appeared from online gaming culture.
‘Cool car man’
Former school friends remember a fond fan of first-person shooter video games like “Hello” and “Call of Duty”.
And he did not talk about politics with J, who met Robinson in a group for enthusiastic people in January.
“He was just a calm car man,” said the 40 -year -old man who refused to give his last name. “We just talked about their love for muscle cars and the way they sound and drive.”
Robinson’s glossy gray dodge challenger was the only thing that neighbors knew about them at the Nondscript Apartment Building where he lived about ten minutes away from his parents in St. George.
For more than a year, a 50 -year -old nurse and his neighbor Heather McCoite described a solitary, dull -looking stranger who, in his opinion, went very fast.
“He would never say Hi, he would not want to talk or start a good neighboring relationship … he was just scary,” he said.
