Asked how Malaysia’s Healthcare Manufacturing Sector is detected to protect its global competition with 24% US tariffs on Malaysia’s goods, Wong said that domestic healthcare manufacturing sector, localization, innovation and business participation can adapt to the medical packaging industry.
“To protect global competition, we would like to prioritize rapidly to increase the supply chain flexibility through local production to reduce dependence on external markets and increase cost capacity,” he said.
