There were 2 dramatic developments in June 2026: incisions Enters Aries after completing its 8 year journey TAURUSAnd Jupiter makes his annual entrance, enters leo.
These are very important transits that will completely change our priorities and overall direction. Things are changing at a fundamental level.
Another highlight of the month is the much-awaited Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Cancer On June 9th. This is a beautiful emotional culmination before Venus and Jupiter move into Leo in the second half of June.
Mercury goes retrograde At the exact degree of the Venus-Jupiter conjunction at the end of the month. There’s more to the story!
But let’s take a look at the most important transits of the month:
June 9, 2026 – Venus conjunct Jupiter
9 June 2026, Venus is in conjunction with Jupiter At 25° Cancer.
Everyone is getting excited about this combination, and for good reason. Venus and Jupiter are two ‘benefic’ planets and their conjunction is classically considered the luckiest and most pleasurable.
What makes it special is the signal it occurs. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, so this conjunction is even more powerful – even more full of abundance and emotional truth.
It’s time to rewrite our relationship to what matters – to be guided not only by what we believe is right, but also by what is feels Truth. This distinction may sound like empty words, but let’s sit with it for a bit.
We may be convinced that we know what is good for us, when in reality, much of our worldview is built on assumptions, expectations, and stories we have inherited from family, culture, or the world around us. We adopt them so quickly that they start seeming like us.
Venus’ conjunction with Jupiter in Cancer invites us to reconnect with a more personal source of knowing.
Just as a river instinctively finds its way to the sea, there is a part of us that already knows what matters. The task is not to figure it out, but to trust it – and then align your life with it.
June 15, 2026 – New Moon in Gemini
On June 15, 2026 we will have a New Moon at 24° Gemini. Apart from a loose square of Neptune, this moon is largely undiscovered.
This is also the first New Moon with Uranus in Gemini. Once the realization comes that things are not as we thought, a space opens up.
Since this new moon is largely unrevealed, there is no strong planetary story filling that space or telling us what to do with it.
This blank, unwritten space may seem confusing, but there is something about ‘not knowing’ that paradoxically triggers a ‘deeper knowing’ inside us – beyond society’s stories and ‘that’s just the way things are’ assumptions.
The New Moon in Gemini invites us to consciously sow that space with truly new possibility.
June 19, 2026 – Chiron enters Taurus
On 19th June 2026, Chiron enters Taurus. Chiron’s zodiac change is one of the most important astrological events of the year.
Chiron has spent 8 years in Aries, exploring and healing the rawest themes of identity and self-expression. The process that began in 2018 is not easy, but necessary. Our relationship with ourselves will never be the same as it was before.
The same process now begins with Chiron in Taurus. Taurus (along with Aries) are the two zodiac signs where Chiron – with its otherwise very eccentric orbit – spends the most time.
There is something about the connection between identity – the abstract “who I am” (Aries) – and the embodiment of that identity (Taurus) that Chiron has to work on with his sharpest skill.
This is not a wound that will heal overnight. This will take 8 years. But at the end of it, Taurus’ core themes – like feeling safe in this world, feeling like we matter, showing up, giving and receiving – will receive the healing they so deeply need.
We tend to think of Taurus procrastination as an unhealthy relationship with our body or money – but that’s just the tip of the iceberg, which surfaces when something goes out of control for a long time.
But it goes deeper than that. The good news is that if there is any planetary role model who has the tools, patience, and empathetic understanding to guide this healing, it is Chiron.
Whether you were born with Chiron in Taurus (and your Chiron will return), your planets are in Taurus, or simply an area of your life is ruled by Taurus – and we all do, that’s our Taurus house – Chiron in Taurus will open a new chapter of healing and integration.
June 21, 2026 – Sun will enter Cancer
Happy Sankranti and happy birthday, Cancerians! on 21st June 2026 Sun enters Cancer.
The solstices and equinoxes are 4 turning points of the year, when the balance between light and dark changes direction. We call them seasons, but they are actually changes in a different psychological and energetic environment.
Each turn introduces the qualities of one of the four elements. The Libra equinox brings air. Makar Sankranti, Earth. Aries Equinox, Fire.
With Cancer, we enter water season – a season of intuition, emotions, belonging, and leaning into what feels right.
June 28, 2026 – Mars enters Gemini
On 28th June 2026, Mars enters Gemini And it’s going to be an immediate change of pace!
After grazing, contemplating, and gathering needed resources in Taurus, Mars is leaving familiar ground to step into the realm of information, exchange, and discovery in Gemini.
Uranus, in Gemini for the first time in nearly 8 decades, will awaken Mars to something it has never experienced before.
In Gemini, Mars will discover new ways of working with information, data, ideas and thoughts – working less on autopilot and with more awareness of what is really happening.
June 29, 2026 – Full Moon in Capricorn
On June 29th (or June 30th), we have a Full Moon at 8° Capricorn.
The Full Moon is moving apart from a square to Neptune and square to Saturn in Aries. Now that a dream or a possibility has awakened, the Capricorn question becomes: : How do we make it real?
The answer may not be obvious, and the path forward may not be easy. Yet Capricorns are less interested in obstacles and more interested in solutions. This is a full moon to stress-examine what matters, separate wishful thinking from commitment, and take responsibility for the next step.
A detailed report of the full moon will come closer to the date.
June 30, 2026 – Mercury turns retrograde
On 30th June 2026, Mercury goes retrograde At 26° Cancer, for a 3-week journey into our emotional memory.
Why do we react the way we do? Why do some circumstances affect us more than others? Mercury retrograde in Cancer takes our emotions to their source, helping us understand the emotional reasoning behind our choices and actions.
At the beginning of this month, Mercury will become retrograde at the level of the Venus-Jupiter conjunction.
Whatever that conjunction has awakened or promised, Mercury retrograde in Cancer will begin the emotional processing necessary to bring it fully into consciousness.
Mercury will be direct at 16° Cancer on July 24. If your planets or angles are between 16°-26° Cancer, you will be especially affected by this retrograde.
June 30, 2026 – Jupiter will enter Leo
On 30th June 2026, Jupiter leaves Cancer and enters Leo.
Jupiter spends about 1 year in one sign, so when it changes sign, there is an immediate change in the atmosphere. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system, so these changes are always noticeable.
On a collective level, the atmosphere changes from Cancer – emotional, protective, internal – to Leo: courageous, brave, direct.
On a personal level, Jupiter moves away from one area of your life and begins to expand another. At the time of entry, pay attention to what comes up for you – especially how your interests change, how you gravitate toward a certain topic, or how a particular area of your life comes into focus.
During its 1-year stay in Leo, Jupiter will make supporting aspects with Neptune and Saturn in Aries – however, the first aspect it will make will be a square for chiron (at 0° Taurus).
So the first encounter with Leo’s courageous, confidence-inspiring energy will also – paradoxically – give rise to deep, forgotten wounds around security and our instincts to trust.
A detailed report of the Jupiter-Chiron square will come closer to the date.
