
Police arrested an alleged illegal immigrant after California residents feared he would use a blowtorch to ignite wildfires in Los Angeles.

According to ICE sources, the man seen in the viral video is being subdued by residents and police have arrested him with a blowtorch. #kennethfire In the West Hills lives an illegal alien from Mexico named Juan Manuel Sierra-Leva. He is in custody on a probation violation and has not been charged with arson.
Melugin continued:
I’m told that ICE will file a request to detain him with the LA County Sheriff’s Department, but they don’t expect it to be honored due to California’s Sanctuary State law. I have been told that Sierra-Leva will appear in court tomorrow.
The arrest comes as California lawmakers debate legislation that would provide an additional $25 million to help deport the state’s large population of illegal immigrants during President Donald Trump’s second term.
Like New York City, Los Angeles’ government welcomes immigrants because they serve as cheap labor, apartment-sharing tenants, and welfare-assisted consumers.

In 2021, local authorities accused another illegal immigrant of arson near the Pacific Palisades neighborhood. Available press reports did not indicate whether the man was found guilty.
Many residents are sharing reports that the fire was intentionally lit and they are alert to possible arsonists.
