A French modeling scout linked to Jeffrey Epstein was found dead inside her Paris apartment, prosecutors said.
The body of 69-year-old Daniel Siad was discovered Monday night and an autopsy is pending. Siyad’s lawyer, Menya Arab-Tagrin, told Fox News Digital that he died of a heart attack.
“Although he died of a heart attack, the unbearable wait, the stigma imposed on him – and, by extension, his loved ones – as well as the daily pressure and anxiety he endured undoubtedly played a role,” she said. “We must await the autopsy results to determine whether his body simply succumbed to his injuries.”

Siad’s name appeared nearly 2,000 times in the Epstein files released by the Justice Department, Reuters reported.
“I’m here in Barcelona, I have girls of Australian Croatian origin living with me, so you can talk to them very well,” Siad reportedly wrote to Epstein in an email.
“I want to keep her here and in Paris,” he said.

Another email sent from Siad to Epstein in April 2009 included photographs of a 17-year-old Slovakian girl while he was searching for models in Bratislava.
Paris prosecutor Laure Becuau told Reuters that at least 24 women have come forward as victims or witnesses to alleged acts committed by Siad or others since the investigation into human trafficking and fraud was launched in February.

Investigators examined Siad, Arab-Tagrin said, but there was not enough evidence to justify his immediate arrest.
“We must not forget that he was never prosecuted, nor was he ever formally implicated in any legal proceedings,” he said. “In the days to come, we must honor the grief of his loved ones. He passed away, and he was innocent.”
