The Reverend Franklin Graham shared a touching tribute for Mother’s Day on Sunday, highlighting the fact that God himself created mothers to care for their children.
In her social media post, Graham wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day! I remembered this story from many years ago and thought you might enjoy it too. These quotes aren’t real, of course, but there’s a lot of truth in them about a mother’s love.”
The narrative explains in detail how the Creator created a man specially suited to nurture, protect and bring happiness to his family.

“In the beginning of time, God needed someone he could trust to love his precious children. And so, God created a mother,” part of the narrative read:
“Yes, I need someone who will love my children just like… well, just like me,” God would have said.
“So, I will give each mother a heart the size of Texas, and if she will let me, I will fill it with my special, forever love. A love that is just like me.”
“Once I place a precious child in her arms, she will never be the same. One day her children will grow up and move on, but she will never do the same. A mother will fight, pray and sacrifice for her children as long as she lives.”
And so, God created a mother.
Social media users shared their thoughts on Graham’s post, with one person writing, “Love it. She was my mom.”
Another person commented, “Thank you Franklin Graham for this beautiful tribute. The only thing my mother would have wanted was for all 12 of her children to be present at Sunday church services on Mother’s Day. Whatever we are today is because of a godly mother.”
First lady Melania Trump joined Graham in writing a tribute to mothers for the holidays. For in his piece Washington PostHe wrote that “Mother is the strength of America.”
She wrote, “Let’s come together to support a new American model that restores the dignity of motherhood by encouraging all women to lead boldly at work while also placing family at the cornerstone of our national future. I invite you to join me in putting family first as we shape a stronger America for generations to come.”
The first lady this week honored American military mothers as the “soul of our nation” during an address at the White House.
Additionally, her husband, President Donald Trump, honored the Gold Star Moms and Angel Moms during a special event in the Rose Garden on Friday, according to Breitbart News.
