
Officers are warning the members of the Syracuse High School Lacros team to replace themselves to come forward and face the allegations in one incident that an prosecutor says “goes beyond the hedging.”
Investigators say that members of the Westhill High School team are facing allegations of misconduct of misconduct on the bizarre act of hedging, said ESPN.
District Attorney Bill Fitzpatric, Onondaga County, says some team members kidnapped several fellow players claiming that they were going to watch a game and then left later after McDonald’s. Instead, the victims were taken to a remote field, where other members of the team waited. Some were equipped with knives and a gun.
The victims were caught, tied, blindfolded, and put into a tights of cars. Initially five students were under Sham kidnapping, but some were distanced away.
“I could not enough this community to express the level of stupidity and the lack of the decision involved in the case,” Fitzpatrick explained. “This path goes, the way beyond hedging.”
Fitzpatrick said that students were not physically damaged, but due to mental abuse, he said, “Emotionally, it is going to be long -term.”
He said, “It is not illuminating a bag on the fire on Halloween and sticking it to its driveway, it is a criminal activity,” he said, it could be a fatal shooting if the police came to the spot and saw that “a child with a hood on his head was kidnapped.”
Some incidents were recorded on the video, and the police have identified eleven teenagers who were involved.
Prosecutors say that team members who were involved in hedging have 48 hours to turn themselves to face the prosecutors.
Fitzpatrick said that those who change themselves will possibly face only rape allegations, but those who do not agree to face justice, they can be accused of allegations of hooliganism.
The prosecutor also issued a warning to the parents.
“Do not come to me for two weeks from now and say,” You accused me of kidnapping my young child. ” Yes, this is right.
Westhill School District Superintendent Steve Dunham assured the parents that children have mental health in the district.
Dunham said, “Our highest priority is always physical safety, mental health and welfare of our students.”
