Trump’s team is progressing towards a deal with Japan and looking closely to the market participants for controls, as it will provide an outline for others. But the Japanese Economic Reconciliation Minister Rioswa Akajwa left the US without a deal on Friday and a deal would take some time.
“We’re not going to do a quick deal,” said Akajwa. “It is difficult to say how long it will take to bridge the gaps (between the two sides).”
The Japanese press today reported that one of the proposals was to give up domestic auto rules.
According to PM Ishiba, a new round of talks for ‘end of this month’ has been set.
