Director of the Federal Investigation Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Kash Patel revealed that the agency was investigating a stabbing in a train in Charlotte, North Carolina, resulting in a Ukrainian refugee.
“FBI has been investigating Charlot train murder from day one,” Patel wrote “Stay maintained in a post on X.”
Patel’s post 23 -year -old Irina Zarutska was stabbed several times on August 22, 2025, by suspected Declos Brown Junior while riding a Charlotte Light Rail.
Breetbart News reported that Brown was arrested and the attack on Zarutska was first accused of murder.
Recently the video footage of the attack was released, which was received by WBTV News, saw Zarutska in the train and took a seat in front of Brown. Video footage also shows Brown “a pocket knife out” and “Zaritska three times in the throat area” stabbing. After stabbing Zarutska, the brown train runs through the car, informs people about “blood dripping” with people on the board:
The first clip features the stabbing suspect, which is identified as brown, which is sitting on the rail car before climbing the needs of the needs. Brown can be seen walking on his seat and it appears emotional.
In the next clip, an angle of Zarutska is sitting down in front of the train and sitting down in front of the brown. The clip that follows is another angle that shows Jerutska to enter and sit in the rail car.

Throughout the video, WBTV noticed that the attack swung his arm and stabbed Zarutska thrice in the area of the throat before going away. Zarutska looked at the attack, shortly after the floor.
