On Wednesday, Sen Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) on the “Morning with Maria” of Fox Business Network discussed its efforts to end the so-called congenital citizenship.
The Tenasi Republican has a bill under consideration in the Senate, which he said that it has advertised an industry worldwide.
“You say that snow’s arrest is protecting Tennessee, as the crime rate is on a decline,” said host Maria Bartiromo. “You also have a new bill banning the birth tourism flaws used by thousands of foreigners every year. Tell us about it.”
Blackburn replied, “Yes, in fact. This birthright rights are important to ban tourism. You have brokers who are advertising and pushing for people in countries like Russia and China, and women, when they are pregnant, they can pay a fee to the broker, they live in a residence that is provided for us, he can send back to the child, he can start a child’s age.”
“Now, we know that there are at least 33,000 births per year that are under this program, and we also know that it is an industry that is earning millions of tens of dollars every year,” she continued. “We need to close it, and we need to abolish this ability to use this congenital tourism. Our citizenship is not for sale to those who are doing so. I mean, we have our army which is a difficult fight and hard has won these battles to keep us an independent nation.”
