Petting Jaya – MCIS Insurance BHD (MCIS LIFE) has entered a strategic cooperation with the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) to launch Langshed to Langshed, which aims to strengthen Malaysia’s fight against lung cancer.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to increase public health, which quickly makes more accessible and reduces financial challenges that are often accompanied by a diagnosis of cancer.
MCIS LIFE CEO Presthem Cibran stated that cooperation highlights the importance of combining different fields of expertise to address the need for a significant healthcare.
He said that Lungshield combines prolonged experience in NCSM cancer prevention and screening with dedication to MCIS Life to support Malaysian people through financial security and innovative health solutions.

Supported by the Ministry of Health and recently Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. The initiative supported by Dzulkefly Ahmad comes at a time when lung cancer is one of the most public health issues in Malaysia.
According to the Malaysia National Cancer Registry Report 2017-2021, lung cancer is the second most common cancer among men and the third among women, in many cases still in advanced stages have been revealed – low -living rates and more financial and emotional stress on patients and families.
Lungshild Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Chest integrates X-ray screening with Lunglife by NCSM, a supplementary insurance scheme designed to support individuals through complete identity and diagnosis process.
The package includes a complete clinical passage, from early imaging to advanced testing and staging. It provides financial assistance of up to a year to help screening and covering clinical costs.
Price of RM129 for the first 10,000 participants, Package – Valuable in RM10,000 – Malaysian offers an inexpensive and practical way to take active steps in their lung health management. After the introductory phase, the package will be available at RM179.
Health Minister Dzulkefly described the program on time and tied up with national efforts to detect cancer and reduce stress on the healthcare system.
NCSM Managing Director Prof. Dr. Murlitharan Munisamy said, “This initiative not only leads medical access, but also addresses financial obstacles that often obstruct the screening of early cancer.”
Through this collaboration, MCIS LIFE and NCSM aim is to strengthen more Malaysian people to seek more Malaysian people looking for timely screening, reducing the burden of late phase diagnosis and contributing to a healthy and more flexible community.
