Mivi AI Will Be Available as a Freemium Offering, Will Require the Companion App

Hyderabad -based consumer tech brand Mivi recently shared more information about Mivi Ai Voice Assistant to be released with Gadgets 360. The company highlighted the functioning of AI models, text interfaces, freemium models and training methods. In particular, the AI ​​system is mainly a voice-based experience, and users can interact with various avatars, as well as ask questions, recipe suggestions, and even get a curate list of news headlines. Mivi AI is currently under development and is expected to be released soon.

Mivi AI will be available to users for free

Based on the demo shared by the company, Mivi AI seems to be an AI-operated voice assistant, which users can interact until they have a compatible earbuds plugged.

However, the company explained that users need two components before reaching AI assistant. The first is Aibuds – upcoming earbuds from Mivi, currently the only tool that supports AI. The second is the company’s fellow app for mobile devices Mivi Audio. The assistant will only work when a user has paired Aibuds with fellow apps.

The company also said that Mivi AI would be completely “lesson and screen-free” experience. This means that the company is selecting for a voice-based experience. However, this does not mean that there is no text interface. Mivi said that the fellow app will show a text interface, however, this is only aimed at storing conversations, not to interact with AI.

Another interesting piece of information shared by the company is that Mivi AI will be a free service, which means that they do not need to pay for anything else until the users own a pair of earbuds. However, Hyderabad -based consumer technology brand is also planning a fremium model with AI service. This means that there will be an alternative payment membership similar to Gemini and Openai, which will offer more premium features.

Finally, the company also gave information about the AI ​​model and its training process. In particular, Mivi AI is an in-house AI model made of scratch by the company. It is trained on thousands of custom datasets that include a large number of audio samples in various scenarios such as various accents, tones and high background noise. Mivi says that due to this, the AI ​​model can easily choose audio from users, even if they are in the external or noise area.
