Many suggested keeping Aisha Retno at all costs, proposing instead that the event be turned into a potluck.
“Cut out everything except Ayesha Retno and Sky Juice. Make the meal a potluck. Sky Juice is important,” one user wrote. Some even offered to bring or sponsor drinks.
Another user joked that she could replace Ayesha Retno for the low price of RM40,000, while someone else claimed to have found a “clone” of the singer to help reduce costs. Others jokingly suggested that Sky Juice was too expensive and should be cut down.
The funniest part came when netizens started projecting themselves as Ayesha Retno’s replacement.
One wrote, “I can be your Aisha Retno, sis, but I’ll only sing half the songs and I’m not good at dancing. I’m not expensive – only RM10,000.” Another, with the same name, joked, “I’m Ayesha too. No need for RM50,000 – RM500 is enough.”
One user had a particularly hilarious idea: “Fire Ayesha Retno. Hire me. Let me sing – after one song, your open house will be automatically canceled. Thank me later. DM for quotes.”
Another comment read, “I don’t understand why people spend so much money on an open house. If you want to save, just make it potluck style – but keep Ayesha Retno. If you have her dates, let me know, I want to come.”
Similar sentiments were shared by others, who insisted on retaining the singer and even asked for an invite.
One commenter suggested cutting out desserts and apam balik instead, saying that Aisha Retno herself is already “sweet”.
