He asked the Catholic Church to respond to these challenges with moral clarity and bold action.
Speaking at the New Sinod Hall, the Pope said that the Catholic Church had faced similar moments before.
He compared the rapid AI technological changes of today’s rapid AI technological change of the 19th -century industrial revolution, saying that the church should again protect workers and promote justice.

Pope Leo XIV, formerly Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost, is the first American to be elected Pope.

He said, “These are the gospel principles, through which the father’s kind face is detected and appears in a man made of son,” he said. “Let us raise this precious heritage and continue on the journey, inspired by the same hope that is born of faith.”
He urged the Catholics to be ready to live in a noise digital world in a calm prayer and discretion. He quoted the Holy Scripture to say that God is often not heard in thunder or spectacle, but in “The whisper of a gentle breeze” or “The Sound of Services Silence”.
The Pope also reflected on the recent death of Pope Francis. He said that moment both sad and filled with the grace of God. He described a new Pope as a “Passachal event” infection, thanked a type of spiritual turn point, and thanks to his predecessor for the life of service.

As Vatican Media reported, the Pope’s comment “imprinted a vision of a church firmly in the tradition, but prepared to complete the future with courage,” especially in his response to those technologies that are resuming human identity.
