The Trump administration is allegedly considering a plan to transfer a million Palestinians from Gaza – almost half the existing population – for Libya and resetting them there again.
NBC News reported on Friday:
The Trump administration is working on a plan to permanently move 1 million Palestinians from Gaza Strip to Libya, which was described by five people with the knowledge of the effort to NBC News.
The plan is quite serious that the administration has discussed this with the leadership of Libya, two people with direct knowledge of the schemes and a former American official.
In return for the revival of Palestinians, the administration would potentially abandon the billions of Libya -dollars funds that the US was frying more than a decade ago, said three people.
Gaza has been a continuous source of regional instability, an incubator of Islamist extremism depends a lot on international aid – at least for the majority of the population. (Terrorist leaders have become billionaires by snatching local taxes and global assistance money.)
The administration denied the NBC news report, but President Trump has often talked about transferring Gaza’s residents-for the less than several decades-when to de-redicate and rebuild the area.
Trump has stated that the US intends to control Gaza, and to convert it into a beacon of freedom and prosperity, once defeats Israel Hamas. Israel launched the “Chariot of Operation Gidon” on Friday to make Hamas out of the root.
