Russian forces started a large barrage of drones and missiles in Ukraine on Sunday, killing at least four people.
Strike, mostly targeted strike of Kiev’s capital, Russia launched the first major air attack after starting the biggest barrage of the war last month. Timur Takchenko, head of Kiev City Administration, confirmed the casualties of Sunday through Telegram and said 10 people were also injured in the attack. One of those killed was a 12 -year -old girl, he said.
“Russians have resumed the Child Death Counter,” Takchenko wrote.
Ukraine’s Air Force said on Sunday that Russia fired a total of 595 blast drones and decoys and 48 missiles. Among them, Air Defense shot or blocked 566 drones and 45 missiles, he said.

Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelanski said the bombing targeted the areas of Zaporizia, Khamenski, Sumi, Mycolaiva, Cherihiiva and Odessa besides Kiev. He said that at least 70 people were injured across the country.
Zelancesi wrote in a statement on social media, “This Wiley attack came almost (AT) close to the United Nations General Assembly, and it is really how Russia declares its real situation. Moscow wants to fight and kill, and it is entitled to the world’s most difficult pressure,” Zalensky wrote in a statement on social media.

The Sunday barrage comes after President Donald Trump displayed a change in tone towards Ukraine during the United Nations General Assembly last week. Instead of emphasizing a peace agreement with Putin, Trump urged Ukraine to urge to go after Russia.

“I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, all of Ukraine is in a position to fight and win back in its original form,” he said on social media on Tuesday.
