
Update May 12, 9:35 pm: SpaceX successfully launched the first phase booster on droneship.
SpaceX launched a batch of Starlink satellites of the Wandenberg Space Force Base on Monday evening.
Starlink will send a 15-4 dubbed mission, one and 26 Starlink V2 mini customized satellites into the Earth’s orbit. The Space Launch Complex 4 East from the Falcon 9 rocket lift at 6:15 pm (9:15 pm EDT, 0115 UTC).

SpaceX used Falcon 9 First Stage Booster 1088 to launch this mission. Its last five flights included NASA’s Sphrex Observatory, Transporter -12 Smallsat Rideshare and two missions for the national reconnaissance office.
Eight minutes after the liftoff, the B1088 landed on a droneship, ‘Surely I still love you,’ who marked the 129th booster landing for this droneship and the 445th booster landing till date.
The launch of Monday night also represented SpaceX’s 18th launch from California this year. The Department of Federal Aviation Administration and Air Force gave the company a capacity to launch Pad 4 East up to 50 times annually.
The SpaceX launch rate from California is currently almost once every 7.3 days in 2025. Between two of its pads and droneships in Florida, the East Coast Launch rate of SpaceX is almost once every 3.5 days.
