Social Security Administration Sen Elizabeth Warren is pushing behind against D-Mas, when he accused the agency of removing the major data and covering the laxity.
September 16, 2025 letters and data reports especially shared with Fox News Digital, SSA Commissioner Frank J. Bisignano claimed that Warren’s analysis was wrong.
He said that the agency is more transparent and is performing better under the Trump administration, as it was done under the former administration. Documents reflect the position of SSA and are not independently verified.
“SSA currently reports under the Tram Administration (30) reports almost three times the number of data elements on the webpage, as it was done under the Biden Administration (11),” Bisigno wrote.

“These facts decisively demonstrate that you are wrong in accusing you of lack of transparency.”
He also pushed Warren’s cover-up allegations behind, saying that SSA has improved customer service, “the short waiting time in phones and offices, as well as backlogs, has reduced.” Bisignano said that 81 percent of the performance measures are better than before, about the rest.
According to SSA data, the average phone waiting time fell from 29 minutes in 2024 to 16 minutes in 2025, with August to just 9 minutes.

The pending disability determination in August 2024 fell from about 1.2 million to about 907,000. Disability claim processing increased from 231 days to 217 days. The SSA report retirement and survivor claims were processed at 87% in August 2025.
Bisignano has written that the agency aims to become a “digital-first” operation that runs efficiently and serves people whether they call, visit an office or use the website. He said that the continuous monitoring of major performance indicators is part of that effort.

He urged Warren to work with SSA, rather than “Fearmonging and careless lies said that social security is going away.”
“The time has come that social security stopped making weapons,” he wrote. “American people do not want a social security war room. They want their leaders to protect and protect social security, as President Trump has promised.”
