President Donald Trump is celebrating his 80th birthday on Sunday and is as busy as ever.
Hours before the White House is scheduled to host the UFC Freedom 250 event and depart for Evian-les-Bains, France for the G7, world leaders and top US politicians took to social media to send well wishes to the Commander-in-Chief as he reaches a major birthday milestone.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Trump’s birthday “comes at an auspicious time.”
“America celebrates 250 years of independence – a great nation built on freedom and trust,” Netanyahu wrote.
The Israeli Prime Minister said, “I wish you to lead America to a bright future of peace through strength and that we take the US-Israel alliance to greater heights.”
Israeli President Isaac Herzog also wished Trump on his birthday.
“Your remarkable journey to the White House represents the breadth of the American dream and the power of your own resolve,” Herzog wrote in a post on X.
He said, “In Jewish tradition, it is said that at the age of 80 you acquire unique skills. May you celebrate your beautiful family and a very happy birthday with blessings and happiness.”
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Cabinet officials also acknowledged Trump’s birthday.
Trump celebrated his 80th birthday amid a busy schedule. On Saturday he shared that an agreement with Iran was set to be signed on Sunday. On Sunday evening, he will host the highly anticipated, first-of-its-kind UFC America 250 event at the White House, featuring a seven-match bout pitting undefeated Ilya Topuria against Justin Gaethje in the main card to conclude the event.
