Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Wilonuva revealed that he was leaving the Democrat party after being registered for more than 40 years and joining the Republican Party.
“As of today, I am leaving a party of paid protests, purple hair and pronouns, and joining the party of faith, family and freedom,” Villanueva said in a video. Posted From x.
Breitbart News had earlier reported that a former Democrat Villueva, a former Democrat Villayeva selected to serve as Los Angeles County’s Sheriff in 2018, lost his election campaign in November 2022 for former Long Beach police chief Robert Luna in November 2022.
Villanuva, a Democrat, was selected on the promises of reform in 2018. He became more conservative over time, stood up for the Black Live Matter Movement and took a tough stance against the growing tide of crime.
During the Kovid -19 epidemic, Villanueva refused to implement a instruction to close the beaches over the weekend of July. In July 2021, Vilanueva also said that he would not use the department’s “limited resources” to implement a mask mandate, given that it was “not supported by science.”
Villanuiva wrote at that time, “People who have already contracted to wear vaccination and Covid -19 to wear masks have not been supported by science by science and the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines have not been supported.”
In response to the Villanuva’s announcement that he was leaving the Democrat party, many people on social media to congratulate him for realizing that the California Democrat party left the residents and “left behind the purity.” Others said that the Democrat party “lost touch with American every day”.
