A five-hour marathon meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin, US special envoy Steve Witkoff and President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner failed to make any major breakthroughs in efforts to end Russia’s war in Ukraine.
Witkoff and Kushner arrived in Moscow on Tuesday for talks with the Kremlin leader following Sunday’s meeting with key members of the Ukrainian delegation on the revised peace plan.
