Israeli officials have been criticized after accusing the United Nations of adding Israeli entities to a sexual violence blacklist, which also includes the terrorist group Hamas.
Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, said in a statement shared with Fox News Digital, “We have worked with the UN Secretary-General. Guterres has blacklisted Israel along with Hamas, ISIS, and the world’s most corrupt terrorist organizations. This is a moral outrage that proves Guterres has lost all credibility.”
A spokesperson for Danon said that Israel is officially ceasing relations with the Office of the Secretary-General as long as Antonio Guterres is in office.
Danon claimed that Guterres decided to blacklist Israeli entities in relation to sexual violence in conflict zones, prompting the ambassador to discontinue relations with the office of the UN Secretary General.

“We are a strong democracy. We invited representatives of the United Nations to come to Israel to investigate those ridiculous allegations. They decided not to come. They decided to continue the campaign against Israel. We saw lies in the New York Times and now we are seeing another lie from the United Nations,” Dannon said in a video shared with Fox News Digital.
“We are done with this Secretary General,” he concluded.
The United Nations has not confirmed Israel’s inclusion in the sexual blacklist. The United Nations did not respond to Fox News Digital’s inquiries.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry condemns New York Times piece as ‘one of the worst blood libels’ in the modern press
The Israeli prison service will be added to the United Nations’ list of countries that perpetrate sexual violence in conflict zones, the Jerusalem Post first reported Wednesday night.
In early May, The New York Times published an article by author Nicholas Kristof accusing Israeli prison guards of institutionally sexually abusing Palestinian prisoners. Kristof cited a 2025 United Nations report that called alleged Israeli sexual abuse of Palestinians “standard operating procedure toward Palestinians.”

Israeli officials strongly rejected the entity’s premises and accused Kristof and the Times of blood libel, and threatened to sue the outlet in US courts.
The betrayal of the United Nations and the fight for Israel’s truth
“In an unfathomable reversal of reality, and through an endless stream of baseless lies, propagandist Nicholas Kristof turned the victim into the accused. Israel – whose citizens were the victims of the most horrific sex crimes committed by Hamas on October 7, and whose hostages were later subjected to sexual abuse – has been portrayed as the guilty party,” Israel’s Foreign Ministry wrote in a post on X in response to the Times article.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry commented further on the alleged UN blacklisting on Thursday.

“Last year, the Israeli Ambassador to the UN and the Israeli delegation held several meetings with UN representatives and provided documents, data as well as a detailed response to all allegations raised. Despite this, the UN Secretary General decided to take a political decision and engage Israel with Hamas and terrorist organizations,” the State Department wrote in a statement shared with Fox News Digital.

“The shameful and absurd UN decision to include Israeli entities in the annex to the CRSV report is evidence of the UN’s true nature: a political and corrupt organization that has abandoned its founding principles and systematically targets Israel as its primary mission. This decision is yet another example of the UN’s long-standing, institutionalized hostility towards Israel. Today’s decision must be understood in its true context: of the very real sexual atrocities committed by Israel and Hamas. “An attempt to create a false symmetry. This is the sole inspiration. The person behind this farce is Antonio Guterres,” the statement continued.
“This is the same Guterres who tried to ‘contextualize’ the October 7 massacre, who concealed the complicity of UN staff in those atrocities, and who dragged the UN to its lowest ebb. Guterres is now using his final months as Secretary-General to fabricate baseless accusations against Israel, completely devoid of any factual merit. Israel has comprehensively, thoroughly “And categorically deny these allegations. Given that Antonio Guterres has chosen to violate every standard of honesty, integrity and professionalism, Israel has decided to sever all relations with the Office of the Secretary-General and will wait until the appointment of a new UN Secretary-General,” the statement concluded.
